Professor Ben Boyd
Co-Founder, Director & Scientific Adviser (Formulation & Delivery)

Mr Ross Milton
Co‑Founder & Managing Director

Dr Lou Aurelio
Chief Scientific Officer Head of Business Development
Dr Lou Aurelio is a seasoned synthetic and analytical organic chemist with decades of experience in compound design, process development, and analytical instrumentation. He has a proven record of taking ideas from the lab bench to commercial production – designing, optimising, and scaling routes for novel APIs and advanced intermediates.
As the former CEO of ADKL Labs, Lou led multidisciplinary teams delivering end-to-end contract research programs while establishing new laboratory facilities and corporate operations. Earlier in his career, he served as a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University, contributing to cutting-edge medicinal and process chemistry research and building a strong publication record.
Lou has played a key role in the commercialisation of innovative synthetic routes for non-natural amino acids and lead candidate optimisation for several Australian biotech companies, including VAST Biosciences, Ena Respiratory, and Axelia. He has also supported the large-scale synthesis of lead compounds for Cincera, Ankere, and Amplia.
Known for his clear communication, rigorous documentation, and strategic insight, Lou bridges the gap between discovery and delivery. At Neuraform, he leads client engagements and technical solutions for new synthesis projects, ensuring scientific excellence and commercial impact.

Dr Nurul Quazi
Head of Synthetic Chemistry

Dr Lorenzo Carli
Synthetic Chemist
Originally from Italy, Dr Lorenzo Carli continued his scientific journey through Germany before moving to Australia. Here, he completed his PhD in Organic Chemistry at Monash University, where he investigated new photo-, organo-, and transition-metal asymmetric catalytic pathways.
Dr Carli’s international research experience has focused on multi-step synthetic routes and method development across natural product synthesis, photochemistry, organometallic chemistry, and asymmetric synthesis. Building on this academic foundation, he transitioned into industrial R&D, pursuing route scouting and multi-kilo-scale-up projects for the Australian chemical manufacturing sector. He has worked with a range of industrial-scale batch and flow reactor setups, managed small production teams in ISO 9001-compliant environments, and collaborated closely with clients to deliver innovative, high-quality results.
With over eight years of experience spanning academic and industrial settings – and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and client-centred outcomes – Dr Carli joined Neuraform in 2025 as a Medicinal/Synthetic Chemist. In this role, he applies his diverse expertise to advance the development of novel therapeutic compounds.

Kevin Ho
Production Chemist
Kevin is a production chemist with six years of experience and a strong background in small and large scale chemical processes, formulation development, and production support. Known for his exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, he brings a sharp understanding of data, quality standards, and technical troubleshooting to every project. With natural precision and attention to detail, Kevin ensures that all procedures are carried out accurately, safely, and in full compliance with industry guidelines.
Kevin completed his Bachelor of Science at Monash University in 2021 and joined Neuraform in 2024 as a Production Chemist. He now contributes to both production operations and research and development, supporting new formulations, process improvements, and ongoing innovation across the team. His strong scientific foundation and hands-on approach allow him to connect day-to-day production needs with forward-focused R&D initiatives, helping drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
